Shower Season - Fourth and Final Round!

Baby Eryn's due date is just around the corner....Oct 29th!  Will  Sarah make it to that date?  Central Arkansas will have a weather system pass this week followed by a full moon on Saturday.
This grandmother is guessing October 23rd!

In the meantime..... Michael's home church, Brownsville Baptist in Greer's Ferry, hosted the final shower for sweet baby Eryn.  These pictures don't do justice to all the lovely things showered on baby and parents.

Just 22 years ago, Michael was the baby everyone was doting over!
This church family has invested a lot into Michael and now into the next generation of Branscums!

Just two years and 5 months ago, Sarah and Michael were newlyweds!
Now it's time to make room for Eryn.....

Aimee is looking forward to being a grandmother as much as I am.

Sarah and Michael really enjoyed opening the gifts!  The camo jacket must mean Eryn is destined to be a tomboy!
Uncle Tyler can't wait to take her coon huntin'.

There were several wonderful handmade gifts that will be treasured.
I love the cross stitch picture below with scripture to reinforce the meaning of the name Eryn.

Aunt Bethany has already spoiled the baby before she arrives.  Beside lots of clothes, Bethany has given Eryn her first Bible with her name engraved.

I think all the necessities are covered, plus lots of baby clothes.  This will be the best dressed little lady ever!

This will be my last post until we get the call to meet them at the hospital. Hopefully, it won't be long now.
Please pray with us for a safe and healthy arrival in God's time.

Baby Shower Season - Round Three

Thanks to my wonderful Cabot FBC Friends for hosting one huge shower for Sarah, Michael and Baby Eryn!  Just take a look at these pictures to see what a fantastic spread these ladies can put on!  They know how to cook, serve and decorate!  What a treat to have Michael's mom and sister join us, too.  In addition, Mamaw Hyland and Aunt Jenny Burnett got to come!
Hostesses L to R:
Pam Smith, Judy Simmons, Peggy Bundy, Paulette Lewis,
Marla Melton, Karlyn Hollaway and absent - Alicia Taylor
 Aren't these darling baby cupcakes????
And what about the baby washcloth bouquet? Someone is very clever!

The monkey theme is going on all around the room!

Sleeping baby cupcakes!  Let's hope this is what Eryn does a lot of!

Yummy savory foods, too!

 Thanks Aunt Bethany!

Would this grandmother ever be guilty of spoiling her new granddaughter?

This is Eryn's Monkey themed baby quilt.
Lots of love and prayers went into this project!

Thanks to Leah Smith for this wonderful shopping cart liner!

All the lacy things are a huge hit with Momma Sarah!

Thanks Miss Bonne and Miss Margaret for Eryn's first Piggy Bank!

 The four generations picture:  L to R - Grandmother to be - Lea;
Mom to be - Sarah and
Great Grandmother - Betty Hyland.
OH!  Don't forget baby Eryn in the very middle!
