Baby Eryn's First Shower

Most folks are anticipating the start to football season.  Today kicked off the 'Baby Shower" Season. 

In the Hyland Household we are anticipating the arrival of our first "grand" - a girl, Eryn Elise Branscum.    A special thanks to Melissa Simmons, the shower hostess and Sarah's dear friend ever since we landed in Cabot, AR some 15 years ago.  It was a beautiful shower and so much fun to watch Sarah opening special gifts. Baby Eryn really scored today with all these wonderful gifts!

What a gorgeous table!

I just couldn't wait any longer for Sarah to unwrap the gift from my dear friend, Belinda, from Baton Rouge days. I've had the gift since mid-July knowing all along what the contents were: a pale pink hand sewn baby day gown, receiving blanket and first Bible.  Check out the pictures of the shower below - especially the delicate day gown.
